I engaged in coaching with Anu at a time of exponential growth and change in my organization.  I faced both challenges and opportunities in transforming a global function while balancing my unique contributions as a physician in a company with a rapidly advancing pipeline.   We first worked on my ability to get more done, not just via prioritization and delegation, but also by shifting mindsets and personal energy management.   These changes allowed me to be a better leader while prioritizing aspects of my life that are important to me.   With more time for strategic thinking, I’ve gained clarity on where I need to focus for maximum impact. After a few months of working with Anu, I decided to give my team the same opportunity, since they were facing similar challenges.  I asked Anu to coach my entire leadership team – on team effectiveness and individual leadership.  

I trust that Anu has my and my team’s best interests at heart when he asks questions, makes suggestions, and challenges us.    His intuitive, thoughtful coaching style and knowledge of the business has allowed us to identify the greatest areas for improvement as a team.  I am pleased with the progress that I have been able to make, and my team is more aligned on our collective purpose, our ways of working, and making decisions.   We all feel we are making progress towards being the best versions of ourselves and my team and I are energized for our continued work with Anu.

Starting my new role as the first Chief Wellness Officer at Geisinger, the position was relatively undefined with the needs for all the healthcare workers evident immediately.  I knew I needed a leadership coach and industry expert to assist me in quickly adjusting and responding to the organizational demands.  After interviewing several coaches, I chose Anu.  From the first interaction, it was clear that Anu genuinely cared about me and my development.  His nonjudgmental manner, deep listening, coaching skills, and knowledge enabled him to meet me where I was in each session.  During a time of large changes in both my professional and personal life, I counted on Anu to be my trusted source for reflection, inquiry, support, and industry specific ideas.  We agreed to extend the initial 6-month engagement to a year, and I continue to appreciate his coaching and counsel across many aspects of my life.  I have recommended and continue to highly recommend Anu to other colleagues and friends seeking coaching support especially as we face the fast paced and complex challenges of work and life.  Working with Anu has been one of my best personal and professional leadership decisions.

 I began working with Anu as my executive coach shortly after assuming the role of Chief Information Officer at Novant and joining the Executive Leadership Team. This period has been marked by significant change at Novant as we implement our strategy amidst exponential growth. We are managing major system upgrades, leadership transitions, industry-wide cyber-attacks, and developing new competencies.

Throughout these challenges, I have found Anu's guidance and insights invaluable. His deep understanding of the industry, experience advising boards and C-suite executives, and commitment to my personal growth have been instrumental. Anu has been a highly effective and inspirational coach for me over the years. Most recently, we engaged in a coaching program during a period of transformation for me, both personally and professionally. He has a holistic approach that includes not only my career, but my life, overall. We were able to build a solid foundation for my transition, starting with my identity, purpose, and goals. He was able to strike a blend between personal reflection, and practical tools. He also pushed me out of my comfort zone - offering exercises that enabled me to ultimately better understand myself.  I can’t say enough positive things about Anu and highly recommend him to anyone seeking impactful executive coaching. I worked with Anu as my executive coach over a period of about 7 months. It was a time of huge shifts at work driven by the pandemic and leadership changes - the type of work, the amount of work, my role, and my team. There were a lot of immediate challenges where a coach could help me. Anu’s coaching approach really resonated with me - we built trust early in the coaching relationship by taking a step back to have some deep conversations about the big picture:  what I hold most dear in my life, my aspirations for what I wanted to do and how I wanted to work. This understanding was helpful to establish before we went about finding different ways for me to lead and work.

It became clear to me that over the years of working during the pandemic fueled intensity, my colleagues and I had shifted into a crisis way of working, almost all the time, and it was not serving us well. With guidance and support from Anu, I made some very deliberate changes in the way I prioritize, delegate, respond and engage. My workplace is still undergoing major changes, but I’m more able to manage the workload, the changes, and the stress in a way that does not overflow into the rest of my life.  

Anu’s coaching had a profound effect on me - I still speak with him though our official coaching has ended, and expect that we will stay in touch over the years.

 Anu was my coach for over 6 months, during my transition to a new industry and new responsibilities in a senior role.   I can’t say enough good things about our time together - the kindness with which he approached explorations, his thoughtful questions, and the between-session practices. 

Anu spent considerable time getting to know me on a deep level, understanding my current view of the world, what I value, and what I want out of my career. Our discussions helped me reflect on how I saw my personal and professional lives evolving over time, and how to ensure I’m maximizing both in a way that is aligned to what I value most. I was surprised at how the coaching exercises uncovered unhealthy habits and activities, that were not supportive of my career and life.  Anu helped me identify the changes I needed to make in moving forward towards my goals. 

I feel more confident in my ability to navigate my career and growth in my current organization, better understand how to determine what types of roles I may want, and how to navigate work/life balance in a way that’s specific to me. Given the highly impactful nature of Anu’s coaching, I would highly recommend him to my friends and others in need of executive coaching, and am very happy to have worked with him.

 Anu was an insightful coach during our work together.  What I love about his approach is the inclusion of all of life - all issues or challenges are fair game.  His questions, the practices, and our discussions, pushed me in ways that were highly relevant to my priorities.  Anu invited my adaptations to his ideas, suggestions, and practices so they fit into my life.  His coaching has had a direct impact on helping me ‘own’ and refine my leadership style, to be a more effective and confident COO of a start-up company.
